Join us during National Health IT Week for this interactive breakfast panel where doctors, patient advocates and government representatives come together to discuss the impact and value of doctors engaging patients through health IT in an effort to improve patient health.

Health technology has the power to improve the delivery of care, increase patient safety, decrease medical errors, and strengthen the interaction between patients and healthcare providers. But it can also create challenges for providers and patients.  What can doctors do to maximize the potential of technology to improve care?  What workflows and techniques can providers implement to enhance their relationships with patients?  How can providers inspire patients to take an active role in their health management through health IT?

Panelists:

Michael West, MD, Washington Endocrine Clinic

Nikolai Kirienko, Patient Advocate, RWJF, Crohology.MD

Anita Samarth, President, Clinovations
